I am a man, husband, and father. I was born of mother, and I have a brother and many sisters. I have ups and downs through good times and bad. I am a veteran of the United States Army, and I am currently a Legal Nurse Consultant. I am responsible for the protection and betterment of my home and family. I do not have tricks or traps that, “will get you”, nor am I trying to “Scam” you for anything. I am a person. I have feeling, emotions, and beliefs same as you. I have never done anything to harm you or anyone you love. I only wish that you and the ones you love are safe and in good health. I write a blog / this post because I am an independent business owner. I ask questions and even take somewhat of a stance on topics informed by my experience and education.
As an independent business owner, I am doing what conventional wisdom dictates for this day and age. That is to advertise on social media. If not for advertising I would only be able to reach people that already agree with me. I am not breaking the rules by doing so. I personally did not seek you out and “spam” your page. I paid the platform owner to help me find reasonable people who might be willing to sensibly engage in this social experiment. So, where I am just a man doing my best to operate a business during hard times, I mean you no harm.
I said all that to say this… I personally read every comment and reply you send. The level of anger and negativity is astonishing. Advertising is the means and way social media companies can provide their services free of charge. Your page and my own does not exist without it. This is the way or the nature of the beast. The company and algorithms select where and when to show the ads. Television, radio, and all forms of written publications works the same way.
I would like to apologize to any person that cannot understand this. Liking to a public park or beach, media is free not because there is no cost associated, but because people pay taxes and for advertising. If you strongly disagree with the content, then your constructive criticism is welcome and appreciated. This is an important function of a civilized society. Liifebox values and respect you as a person regardless of your race, creed, color, or opinion.
